Experience the way we work
Horizon 2012 is a 4-day workshop for students who want to gain a first impression of the BTO, learn about our consulting approach, experience the way we work, and meet some of our people from BTO offices all over Europe. You’ll also have the chance to work on your communication, presentation, interviewing, and problem-solving skills.
Horizon 2012 will take place from May 3 - 6 in Barcelona. We’ll start on Thursday afternoon (to give everyone time to arrive and settle in) with a round of introductions to McKinsey, the Horizon team, and the participants.
On Friday and Saturday, the focus will be on teamwork on a case study that simulates a typical BTO consulting project. You’ll get an authentic feeling for real-life projects with coaching by experienced McKinsey consultants.
Of course, there’ll also be ample time for sightseeing and fun activities in Barcelona and its Mediterranean setting, including a party on Saturday evening! And you’ll have numerous opportunities to get to know the McKinsey team and the other participants.
We’ll wrap up on Sunday morning so that, if you're flying home, you can catch a reasonably early flight.
